QC Inspectors perform skilled work in the inspection of aircraft parts, structures, and systems in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.

Performs specific NDT tests, calibrations, interpretations, evaluations and inspections for acceptance or rejection, and document the results in accordance with procedures within the method(s) certified. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.

The Receiving Inspector performs hands on and visual, dimensional inspections of incoming parts and materials, assessing compliance with standards, specifications and control drawings. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work. Systemically and physically performs work in accordance with Flightstar’s RS/QCM, FAA Regulations, and the Customer’s GMM.

Perform basic to advanced level work to accomplish sheet metal repairs and replacements of structural parts. Fabricate replacement coverings, panels, or fairings by using the removed parts as samples. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.

Performs complex tasks in preparing metal and other surfaces on aircraft and equipment for painting. Applies lacquers, primers, synthetic enamels, polyurethane, and epoxy with spray guns, brushes and rollers. Painters will also support by painting ground support equipment. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
