When unexpected maintenance issues arise, we partner with our customers by providing service recovery and AOG (Airline On Board) services. This helps mitigate the risk an airline faces in its flight and maintenance schedule, and most importantly, ensures passenger safety when unscheduled maintenance is required. Whether it’s a quick repair, component replacement, or field equipment support, we are committed to working together until service is restored.

Many of our customers are currently involved in a variety of cab upgrade initiatives and the deployment of enhanced IFE solutions. Our combined Planning, Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams partner with our customers to ensure schedules are met. The extended process, from procuring materials and kits to providing on-site engineering support during the modification, helps us meet demanding retrofit schedules.

We performed our first commercial airliner-to-cargo conversion on a B727 in 2000. Since then, Flightstar has expanded this offering to include B737s and B757s, and through its deep knowledge of aircraft structures, heavy maintenance services, and comprehensive painting capabilities, Flightstar has become an expert in converting commercial airliners to cargo aircraft.

We enable our customers to take advantage of aircraft downtime by providing comprehensive aircraft painting capabilities across all compatible fleet types. Our painting services include graphic production, drafting support, state-of-the-art equipment designed to minimize product waste and optimize coverage, and climate-controlled paint hangars to minimize downtime due to inclement weather.
