Oversees and controls the continuation of aircraft maintenance functions in the area of responsibility as directed by the Line Manager. Work accomplished to provide airworthiness upon completion of the tasks assigned or required by the customer. Plans and schedules departmental workloads and supervises crew operations to maximize the effective utilization of employees, equipment and material/supplies to maintain project profitability as communicated by Sr. Leadership, Maintenance, and Production Control.
Responsible for customer’s program material requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for the customer and the production control team. Provide supervision and direction to departmental personnel for all program related material requirements. Provides daily direction to the Material Coordinator and oversees the materials billing review process and reconciles all discrepancies.
Perform a basic to advanced level skilled work to identify, remove, and install aircraft components and to perform servicing of engines and aircraft accessories to ensure airworthiness according to customer specifications and FAA standards. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
The Avionics Technician installs, inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs aircraft avionics equipment and systems. Performs operational tests and functional checks on aircraft avionics systems, and troubleshoots and corrects problems. Reads blueprints and schematics. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
QC Inspectors perform skilled work in the inspection of aircraft parts, structures, and systems in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
