Performs specific NDT tests, calibrations, interpretations, evaluations and inspections for acceptance or rejection, and document the results in accordance with procedures within the method(s) certified. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
Maintains and ensures current updates to aircraft technical manuals, the Flightstar FAA Repair Station/Quality Control Manual, and other manuals and publications. This is highly responsible editorial work that focuses on technical publications containing information, such as airworthiness directives or customer service notices, from vendors, manufacturers, and regulatory agencies. A primary responsibility is to catalog, store, and issue the technical documents. This includes maintaining the technical library software based on hard copy manuals, technical data, and specifications and listing any effective pages of revisions.
The Director of Materials is responsible for the planning, standardization, staffing and execution of a comprehensive and effective supply chain system. This system includes but is not limited to, demand planning, procurement, warehousing and logistics functions in support of maintenance activities.
Talent Development (TD) Specialist
The Talent Development Specialist is a key resource to Flightstar’s Talent Development department. The TD Specialist performs as a systems, onboarding, leadership and human capital trainer and is responsible for assisting in the management of Flightstar’s Talent Development programs, such as Recognition, Career Development, Training Budgets. The TD Specialist will serve Flightstar team members through various learning methods pertaining to systems, human resources, and all other non-regulatory training initiatives to improve people performance.
Under the Human Capital umbrella, the Human Resources Generalist manages both strategic planning responsibilities and administrative tasks in every area of HR, benefits and employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and compliance.
