History

1983

Aeroman was established

Aeroman was established as the Maintenance and Engineering division of TACA Airlines, created to provide in-house maintenance to the entire fleet.

1996

Aeroman
Hangar 1

As a result of growing demand, Aeroman built Hangar 1 with four maintenance bays

1999

Flightstar was established

Flightstar was established as an aircraft battery and NDT inspection shop at Miami International Airport.

2000

Flightstar Cargo Conversion

Flightstar relocated to Hangar 1 at Jacksonville International Airport and performed first cargo door conversion on a B727-200.

2005

Flightstar Relocation

Flightstar relocated operations to Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida.

2006

TechOps MX was established

TechOps MX was first formed in Guadalajara as a result of a Delta-Aeromexico maintenance services alliance.

2008

Aeroman
Hangar 2 and 3

Aeroman expanded capacity at El Salvador International Airport by adding Hangar 2 and Hangar 3, with one maintenance bay in each hangar.

2010

Flightstar Expansion

Flightstar expanded capacity at Cecil Field by adding Hangar 905 with one paint and two maintenance bays.

2012

Aeroman
Hangar 4

Aeroman expanded capacity at El Salvador International Airport by adding Hangar 4 with three maintenance bays.

2014

TechOps MX Relocation

TechOps MX relocated to Querétaro, Mexico and joined the expanding aerospace cluster at Querétaro Intercontinental Airport.

2014

Flightstar Expansion

Flightstar expanded capacity at Cecil Field by adding Hangar 935 with four maintenance bays

2015

Aeroman Expansion

Aeroman expanded capacity at El Salvador International Airport by adding Hangar 5 with ten maintenance bays and extending Hangar 2 and 3, adding two additional maintenance bays. Aeroman performed first A330 heavy maintenance check and opened Airbus Competence Training Center (ACT)

2016

The MROH Group is created

The MROH group acquires FAS, and FAS becomes part of the MROH group maintenance facilities. Aeroman implemented the use of mobile tablets across all maintenance bays.

2017

Commercial Partnership with
TechOps MX and MROH

The MROH group enters into a commercial partnership with TechOps MX. Aeroman performed first heavy maintenance checks on B757 and E190 fleet.

2018

Aeroman
Hangar 6

Aeroman expanded capacity at El Salvador International Airport by adding Hangar 6 with twelve maintenance bays and extending Hangar 2 and 3, adding two additional maintenace bays. TechOps MX expanded capacity at Querétaro Intercontinental Airport by extending the interiors workshop. Aeroman performed first A320 NEO check and TechOps MX performs first B757 check.

2019

MRO Solutions was established

MRO Solutions becomes part of the MROH group

2020

North State is acquired by
MROH

The MROH group acquires NSA, and NSA becomes part of the MROH group maintenance facilities.

2026

2026 - Integration of Rionegro MRO into the MROH Network

MROH incorporates Rionegro MRO in Colombia, into its growing portfolio of maintenance facilities. This strategic expansion strengthens the Group’s footprint across Latin and North America and enhances its ability to deliver high-quality airframe maintenance solutions throughout the Americas.

2026

Aeroman - Hangar 7

Aeroman expanded its capacity at El Salvador International Airport with the addition of Hangar 7, providing expanded Narrow and Wide Body capacity with Latin American proven advantages.

    Carroll Lane

    Chief Executive Officer
    MROH Group

    Mr. Lane directs MROH Group’s strategic vision, ensuring world-class service delivery to the aviation market. His priorities include aligning company strategy with market needs, consolidating the strengths of its multinational operations, and driving continued growth and innovation to build upon the company’s achievements.

    Drawing on over 25 years of leadership in aerospace and defense, Mr. Lane’s background includes serving as Senior Vice President with Kaman Corporation, President of Commercial Engines with Pratt & Whitney and holding strategic roles at United Technologies Corporation. Prior to joining UTC, he was a consultant with CSP Associates, an Aerospace & Defense advisory firm in Cambridge, MA. Earlier in his career, he served as a Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Lane currently serves on the Board of the New England Air Museum.

    Mr. Lane earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Williams College and a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School.

    Mark Eldred

    Chief Operating Officer
    MROH Group

    Mr. Eldred serves as Chief Operating Officer of MROH Group, providing senior executive leadership across key operational and strategic business areas. He leads enterprise-wide initiatives in Safety, Quality & Compliance, ensuring industry-leading practices are consistently shared and implemented across MROH’s operating companies.

    Mark also provides senior executive oversight of Global Supply Chain, Engineering & Planning. With nearly four decades of experience in the aviation industry, including 26 years in senior executive leadership roles at United Airlines, Mark brings extensive operational expertise and industry knowledge to MROH. His leadership supports the organization’s continued growth, the integration of new capabilities and facilities, and its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Quality & Compliance.

    Jon Lee

    Chief Commercial Officer
    MROH Group

    Mr. Lee spearheads all commercial endeavors spanning Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, Branding, and Commercial Operations at MROH. Jon collaborates closely with our leadership teams and customers to synchronize MROH’s vision with their short- and long-term requirements. Jon began his aviation career at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics where he was a member of the F-16 sustainment team. With almost 20 years of aviation expertise, Jon’s background also includes leadership roles at Oliver Wyman CAVOK, where he collaborated closely with prominent airlines and MROs on various operational and strategic projects. He has served MROH for the past 10 years and prior to his current role, he served as Vice President of the MROH Operations Planning and Engineering division. Jon earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Texas Tech University.

    Alberto Acosta

    Chief Financial Officer
    MROH Group

    Mr. Acosta is responsible for oversight and operations of the company’s financial activities. He brings over 25 years of major corporation, multi-national CFO experience with Siemens and most recently TIGO.

    Serdar Yorgancigil

    Chief Digital Officer
    MROH Group

    Mr. Yorgancigil leads MROH Group’s enterprise technology and digital agenda, taking ownership of end-to-end digital transformation across the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, his priorities include leveraging data to create customer value, modernizing IT systems to streamline productivity, and driving digital innovation across MROH’s 9,000-person workforce. By advancing data integrity and technological infrastructure, he focuses on elevating quality systems while preserving safety and reliability as core competitive advantages.

    Bringing 25 years of aviation and technology experience to the role, Mr. Yorgancigil has an extensive record of guiding digital strategy and software enablement for global aviation enterprises. Prior to joining MROH, he served as Chief Information Officer at Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) and spent nearly two decades at AAR Corp in key technology leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Digital Enablement. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Istanbul University, executive education certifications from MIT Sloan and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and serves on the Chicago Chief Data Officers governing body.

    Ana Carol de Benedetti

    Chief Legal & Taxes Officer
    MROH Group

    Mrs. Benedetti leads all legal matters for the MROH group. Ana Carol brings more than 20 years of experience in the airline and related industries. Prior to joining the MROH Group, Ana Carol served as General Counsel for LifeMiles, Avianca’s loyalty program.

    Darío Kañevsky

    Chief Human Resources Officer
    MROH Group

    Mr. Kañevsky directs MROH Group’s enterprise human resources strategy, guiding global talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee relations across all facilities. His priorities include fostering a high-performance culture, standardizing HR operations, and strengthening talent pipelines to support the company’s aggressive growth and expanding operational footprint. He focuses on building inspiring, growth-driven workplace environments while aligning enterprise workforce strategy with corporate performance goals.

    With over two decades of global HR leadership experience, Mr. Kañevsky brings an extensive background in leading enterprise-wide transformations across multinational corporations and private equity portfolio companies. Prior to joining MROH, he served as CHRO & EVP of Human Resources at Cotton Holdings, Vice President of Human Resources at Emerson Electric, and held key regional HR leadership roles at Mallinckrodt and Cargill. He holds a BBA from the University of Buenos Aires, an MS in International Leadership & Strategy from the University of Minnesota, and an MBA from the State University of New York at Albany.

     

    Kyle Helbing

    Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer
    MROH Group

    Mr. Helbing leads MROH Group’s enterprise-level strategic initiatives, driving operating unit transformation and continuous improvement across the company’s expanding facility network. His priorities include optimizing operational efficiency, scaling business capabilities, and aligning site leadership with global corporate strategy to support high-growth initiatives. Combining extensive private equity operating experience with a foundation in aerospace engineering, he focuses on building sustainable processes that deliver sustained organizational performance.

    With over 20 years of cross-industry leadership experience, Mr. Helbing brings a proven track record in supply chain transformation, merger integration, and growth strategy. His prior executive background includes serving as President of Specialty Lines & Chief Integration Officer at Bishop Lifting, Vice President of Supply Chain at FleetPride, and Senior Vice President at ATW, as well as management consulting at Bain & Company. He began his aviation career as a Preliminary Design & Certification Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes and holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University as well as an MBA with Distinction from Cornell University.

    Alejandro Echeverría

    Mr. Echeverria leads one of the biggest MROs in the Americas to provide the highest results in Safety, Quality and Performance. More than 30 years of wide experience, in ENAER, LATAM Airlines and Airman MRO, have allowed him to be deeply involved in all Strategic, Maintenance and Engineering activities in the aviation industry. His leadership and knowledge enables the organization to provide world class services, creating added value and high satisfaction levels to our customers.

    Rick Uber

    Vice President MRO U.S. & Mexico
    MROH Group

    Mr. Uber is responsible for the group’s MRO businesses in U.S. and Mexico. With forty years of invaluable experience spanning leadership roles at prominent organizations such as Delta Air Lines and Aviation Repair Technologies (ART), his priorities include P&L accountability and a resolute focus on the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. He is also dedicated to making operations more effective and successful by developing and executing strategic business plans and fostering respectful, trustworthy, and collaborative work environments.

    Jeff Spencer

    General Manager
    Flightstar Aircraft Services (MROH Group)

    Mr. Spencer leads operational strategy and facility management for Flightstar Aircraft Services as General Manager, reporting directly to the Vice President of MRO US and Mexico. His priorities focus on ensuring facility operational stability, advancing safety processes, and guiding Flightstar into its next phase of service excellence and expansion.

    Bringing extensive operational capability and deep institutional knowledge to the executive leadership team, Mr. Spencer previously served as Director of Maintenance at Flightstar. In that capacity, he demonstrated a strong track record of operational performance, customer alignment, and cross-functional leadership grounded in Flightstar’s culture and core values.

     

    Scott Marion

    General Manager
    North State Aviation (MROH Group)

    Mr. Marion leads operational and site management for North State Aviation as General Manager, driving operational excellence, team safety, and performance execution across the facility. He has full operational oversight to guide North State’s ongoing growth, strengthen functional collaboration, and support MROH Group’s overarching strategic priorities.

    Bringing deep hands-on MRO experience and operational expertise to the role, Mr. Marion previously served as Director of Maintenance at North State. In that position, he demonstrated a consistent ability to lead teams through complex maintenance operations, drive continuous improvement, and foster a strong culture of quality and organizational performance.

     

    Brandon Jauregui

    Managing Director
    TechOps MX

    Mr. Jauregui is responsible for leading the facility’s operations and advancing its growth and success. Drawing on his over two decades of experience in both corporate leadership and the MRO sector, Brandon previously served as the MROH Vice President of Human Resources for the US and was the interim GM of TechOps. His background also includes holding management roles at General Electric and Nilfisk, and serving in the US Marines.

    Ricardo Alvarez

    General Manager
    Rionegro MRO

    Mr. Alvarez is responsible for the Rionegro MRO facility in Rionegro, Colombia. He guides its full incorporation into the MROH Group and directly oversees all the operational and support areas in the MRO, including Maintenance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Quality & Compliance, and Finance. With over 30 years of supply chain management expertise, he brings broad experience in areas such as operations, manufacturing, logistics, and program management. Drawing on his broad, strategic perspective and servant leadership, his background includes leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams in challenging environments while holding key leadership roles at global companies like the Kellogg Company and Procter & Gamble (P&G).

    Marco Platero

    Vice President of Materials and Planning
    MROH Group

    Mr. Platero leads the integration of MROH Group’s Supply Chain and Planning functions into a unified department, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. His priorities include optimizing resource coverage, streamlining planning operations, and eliminating

    workflow inefficiencies across the company’s operating network. Leveraging deep operational expertise and long-standing institutional knowledge, he focuses on positioning the combined organization for sustained operational excellence and long-term expansion.

    Bringing over 25 years of aviation maintenance industry experience, Mr. Platero has built an extensive operational leadership record within MROH and its operating companies. Having joined the organization in July 1994, he has advanced through pivotal management tracks, previously serving as Director of Operations at Aeroman, Director of Production Planning and Control at MROH SOC, General Manager at TechOpsMX, and Vice President of OpCo Integrations.

     

    Elsy Pozo

    Vice President Internal Audit, Corporate Governance & SOC Office Head
    MROH Group

    Mrs. Pozo is dedicated to ensuring the MROH group corporate governance and internal controls are both established and effective. With over 20 years of experience in the airline industry, Elsy possesses extensive expertise, with more than 15 years specifically focused on Internal Controls and Internal Audit. She has spearheaded the development of world-class audit teams within SOX Compliance Programs and has implemented innovative audit techniques in Data Analytics. Leveraging long-term continuous auditing and monitoring programs, Elsy has consistently enhanced operational efficiency and risk management within the organization.

    Eduardo Lasala

    Vice President of Commercial Operations
    MROH Group

    Mr. Lasala serves as Vice President of Commercial Operations, providing strategic leadership across MROH Group’s key commercial support functions. He oversees Customer Experience, Analytics, Revenue Forecasting, Commercial Contracts, and Marketing. Eduardo works closely with key commercial leaders to ensure strategic alignment across MROH’s commercial activities and to strengthen customer relationships and long-term partnerships. Eduardo brings more than 25 years of experience in the aviation and airline industry. Prior to joining MROH, he held multiple leadership positions with TACA Airlines, Avianca Airlines, Volaris Airlines, and Airline MRO Parts.

    Jay Aiken

    Vice President of Sales & Account Management
    MROH Group

    Mr. Aiken leads MROH Group’s sales and account management strategy, directing Account Executives and Commercial Program Managers to maximize value across customer relationships. His priorities include deepening long-term airline partnerships, driving aggressive commercial growth, and expanding MRO service offerings across airframe, engine, and component sectors. Beginning his career as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, he brings a rare combination of hands-on technical grounding and executive leadership to align operational capabilities with customer requirements.

    With over 35 years of aviation industry experience, Mr. Aiken has negotiated and executed multi-billion-dollar maintenance contracts and led commercial expansion across major market sectors. His background includes executive sales and business development leadership roles at StandardAero, SR Technics, Aero Capital Solutions, Moeller Aerospace, and MTU Aero Engines. Additionally, he spent 15 years at Delta Air Lines spanning Maintenance, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management.

    Jimmy Winkley

    Vice President of Sales
    MROH Group

    Mr. Winkley leads MROH Group’s expansion into new accounts and lines of business, working alongside regional leadership to broaden market presence. His priorities include capturing new customer accounts, accelerating growth across airframe, engine, and component sectors, and deepening client relationships through strategic commercial alignment. Known for a relationship-driven approach built on integrity and transparency, he focuses on converting new market opportunities into long-term strategic partnerships.

    With over 15 years of cross-functional aviation expertise, Mr. Winkley brings an extensive background in MRO sales, supply chain management, and commercial operations. Prior to

    joining MROH, he served as Senior Vice President of Commercial at LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions, overseeing a $150M+ revenue portfolio. His previous leadership experience includes MRO Sales Executive at Delta TechOps and Vice President of Sales & Business Development across SK AeroSafety Group, alongside earlier commercial roles at Southwest Airlines and Red Aviation.

    CHARLES TAYLOR DAY
    At MROH, we celebrate the efforts of the talented professionals who ensure the safety and security of our airborne aviation infrastructure every day, but especially on National Aviation Maintenance Technician Day which is observed on May 24th. It is named after Charles Edward Taylor, the man who built the engine used to power the airplane of the Wright Brothers in 1903. As part of the celebration, we spend the day building children’s bikes with one of our business partners.

    MROH helps SOS Children's Villages to assure every child has the right to quality care and a safe environment in order to reach their full potential. We help by providing school supplies, and by working with our local communities to provide a loving and supporting environment for children who have been or are at risk of being separated from their families

    For the past several years, MROH has supported Folds of Honor, an organization that since 2007 has carried on the noble mission of providing scholarships to the spouses and the children of America's fallen and disabled service-members.
