A&P Mechanic – First Shift
Proper and timely completion of tasks in accordance with the Repair Stations approved ratings and the policies and procedures set forth in the manual. Proper completion of all paperwork related to the assigned task. Provide information to the Lead Mechanic for shift turnovers and entering the information on the NSA-MF-22 form in the absence of the Lead Mechanic. Notify Inspection when task requires or becomes an RII action. Segregate and identify upon removal all repair station/customer components. Possess and maintain an adequate number and quality of tools necessary to perform assigned tasks. Ensure all tools are accounted for and/or returned to the tool room at shift’s end. Performance of assigned tasks in accordance with job cards, engineering orders, maintenance manuals, and other approved documents. Understand and apply the chapters and sections of the manual that apply to his or her position. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Performs operational tests and functional checks on aircraft avionics systems, and troubleshoots and corrects problems. Reads blueprints and schematics. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
