Organizes, plans, and manages aircraft maintenance and repair operations on second or third shift, as designated. Develops and implements actions and procedures to accomplish aircraft maintenance objectives, schedules, while maintaining good order and discipline of assigned employees. Develops operating plans and manpower requirements for operations on the designated shift.
Line Program Manager
Plans, organizes, and manages customer interface in aircraft maintenance and repair operations for designated customer programs including both hangar and line maintenance activities. Develops and implements actions to accomplish delivery of quality products and services in accordance with aircraft maintenance schedules. Develops operating plans and manpower requirements necessary to meet both short and long term objectives. Expectation is to consistently meet set KPIs, set clear expectations for supervisors and hold them accountable to those expectations, and ensure 100% safety compliance at all times.
Oversees and controls the continuation of aircraft maintenance functions in the area of responsibility as directed by the Line Program Manager. Work accomplished to provide airworthiness upon completion of the tasks assigned or required by the customer. Plans and schedules departmental workloads and supervise operations relating to their area of responsibility to maximize the effective utilization of employees, equipment and material/supplies to maintain project profitability as communicated by Sr. Leadership, Maintenance, and Production Control.
Sheet Metal Mechanic
Perform a basic to advanced level skilled work to accomplish sheet metal repairs and replacements of structural parts. Fabricate replacement covering, panels, or fairings by using the removed parts as samples. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
Performs skilled work on complex tasks in preparing metal and other surfaces on aircraft equipment for painting. Applies lacquers, primers, synthetic enamels, polyurethane, and epoxy with spray guns, brushes and rollers to include painting ground support equipment; and does related work. Reads and complies with instructions and safety information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work.
